Happy New Year everyone! 2023 was a great inaugural year for the Games & Tech Victoria group, and as we head into 2024 we’re hitting the ground running this year with our first event!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Game Jam<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited to announce that we’re bringing Global Game Jam<\/strong> to Victoria January 26-28<\/strong>! Join us for the largest game jam on the planet at Fort Tectoria! Join us for a great weekend of creativity and collaboration with your fellow game developers, artists, designers and sound engineers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This past October we held the first Orca Jam since the pandemic with great success. We had a great turn out and hope to see even more people at Global Game Jam! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Global Game Jam?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game creation event taking place around the globe boasting tens of thousands of participants (jammers) at hundreds of physical and virtual sites in over one hundred countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
